Summary: We reserved two rooms because we were in town for a wedding. After driving 9 1/2 hours, we arrived at 11pm. We were greeted by the lady at the front desk. She was wonderful! We made our way up to our rooms. The one room was fine. My room, however…..my children and I walked into our room and was hit by an enormous smell of weed. We exited and went down to the lobby and asked for another room. The lady was very sweet and moved us across the hall. We went into our room and noticed two “water bugs” crawling on the ground. We call them cockroaches in Ohio…North Carolina call them water bugs? Anyway, I killed them, made sure all of our things were off of the ground and went to bed. I was exhausted and the only other option was sleeping I. The car. We didn’t notice any other bugs on the second day. We checked out and I informed the front desk of the bug situation to which she answered she would have someone take care of it immediately. They didn’t offer a refund or anything. At that point we were just ready to get home.
